Chinese driving rules are updated from time to time, and cities and provinces often apply them in different ways. This is especially true for foreign applicants. We do our best to keep guides current and show a "last verified" date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is correct for your case.
Always confirm with the authorities
Before you gather documents, pay fees or book an exam, confirm the current requirements with your local vehicle administration office (车管所), the local traffic police, or the official "Traffic Management 12123" service.
Practice questions are not the real exam
The mock exam on this site contains original questions written from public traffic laws. They are not taken from the official exam bank. The real test is set by the authorities, may be in Chinese, and its length, scoring and question pool can differ by vehicle type, city and over time. Passing our mock exam does not guarantee you will pass the real one.
