Design tips

  • Keep the main subject recognisable at small sizes.
  • Use enough contrast between artwork and background.
  • Keep important details away from the edges.

Common problems

  • If the icon looks small, reduce excess padding.
  • If edges crop, move the focal subject towards the centre.
  • If text is hard to read, remove it rather than shrinking it.
