Google Play Feature Graphic: A 1024 × 500 Design Guide

Use the correct canvas, leave safe visual space, and make a feature graphic that supports—not duplicates—your store listing.

Set up the canvas

A Google Play feature graphic uses a 1024 × 500 canvas. Begin at the native size so type scale, spacing, and image sharpness can be judged in the format users see.

Work from a clean source and export at the end rather than repeatedly re-saving a compressed JPEG.

Give the message room

Use one primary idea: a short product promise, a clear product visual, or a focused scene. Keep critical copy and logos away from the outer edges and avoid relying on the exact centre, where placements can add overlays.

High contrast is more dependable than decorative complexity. If a headline needs several lines, reduce the copy before reducing the type size.

Represent the product honestly

Do not add fake controls, rankings, prices, countdowns, or claims users cannot verify. Keep screenshots and logos current with the submitted build. Use the feature graphic to create context while screenshots demonstrate actual use.

Google Play requirements can change. Verify current details in the official Play Console preview-assets guidance and in your Play Console before publishing.
