Google Play Store Asset Checklist

A pre-submission checklist for your icon, feature graphic, screenshots, text, data disclosures, and listing review.

Visual assets

Check the app icon, feature graphic, and screenshots against the current Main store listing requirements. Confirm file type, dimensions, alpha handling, legibility, and that the material accurately represents the version you will publish.

Keep actual product UI prominent in screenshots. Avoid unsupported claims, deceptive badges, other store branding, and text that is too small to read on a phone.

Listing information

Review the app name, short description, full description, category, contact information, privacy policy, data safety answers, content rating, and any device-specific listing assets that apply to the app.

Make sure every claim can be verified in the current app. Save source files and release dates so the next listing update can be checked efficiently.

Final verification

Open every exported image outside the design tool, inspect at real device size, and use the Play Console as the final authority before submitting. The checklist helps preparation; it does not guarantee review approval.

Google Play requirements can change. Verify current details in the official Play Console preview-assets guidance and in your Play Console before publishing.
